Churchill’s main attraction are Polar Bears. As much as we wanted to see them we also didn’t want at all, well in the town at least. Apparently they can charge super fast from 0-40 mph so no chance for me and mom. Churchill is mega organized, all the houses and cars have to be open 24 hours for potential escape. There is bear prison for the naughty one which comes to town and wander around. Close to migration season when Hudson bay get frozen, they are all released to go wander on the ice to catch some seals. There is bear patrol, alarms and people aren’t supposed walk around between 10pm and 6am. We were lucky to see over 18 of them, beautiful healthy looking creatures who looked as if they were ready to jump on and cuddle.Churchill was special, our diet was based on pirogies in the best restaurant is Town called Tundra. We met super cool Polish lady Aneta and we spent great 3 days wandering around. I have feeling that we will meet again on another trip. But for now meet our fluffy creatures.
