My second Christmas is coming up and it’s full of excitement. Last Saturday we had a big party at mom’s work and even Santa came. I hope it’s not strange that i didn’t want to sit on his lap. Poor Santa, he never gets any gifts for Christmas. Anyhow the party was great, we had a blast. All my friends were there, as you can see on the pictures. In a few days my sister is coming from the UK and I can’t wait for all the fun we will have together. I can talk a lot now, we can read books together and play hide and seek. I eat by myself with a spoon so we can even have proper dinners together, I am basically a big girl now. Christmas wishes in the new post.
Last weekend was my second Culture Crawl at my parent’s Octopus Studios. Last year I was in the crib sleeping for most of it however this time I was running around and admiring everybody’s art. There was over 1104 people at the Studio so there was plenty of people to get attention from BTW Kim the guitar guy is the nicest guy ever, not sure why I just didn’t feel like smiling. Oh and i forgot to mention that my mom’s face is all over the town 😉
As for new skills, I can say Geegee which means Ginger; Gash (my uncle Grzegorz – well give me some credit here look at the full name yourself), Apple, Fish. My sign language is top notch and I can guess whose clothing my mom is folding from the laundromat. I can run and fall (not sure if the last one counts).
A few weeks ago my parents hung a big chalk board where I could practice my lines and techniques. Today was a big deal as I was painting for real on the paper with water colors and stamping with potato stamps. Enjoy my first art pieces.
This time I was a duck. Pretty much my first words were Duck quakquak so it was easy to decide who i was going to be. Day before I went for Baily’s birthday party, next day I had a big parade at my day care (I hope to have some pictures from that event soon). We all went out in the big stroller and walked around the city it did feel pretty special. After that I went to my mom’s work where I had a chance to meet up with my friends: Dagny, Leon and Eliot. The exciting day finished at home with high fever, well I ended up staying home for few days and finally start painting. More in next post.
This time we went to Cabos in Baja California. I fell in love in the warm turquoise ocean, sandy beaches, local boys and mariachis. Most of the day I spent in the water, slowly getting better with my swimming. I saw lots of Pelicans…Well…I still call them “ducks”. My mom can’t catch up with my new tricks and skills as I am a toddler now and things speed up in my age. Parents definitely enjoy my vocabulary: Daddy, Mama (finally), Dziadzia (for Polish friends to understand – meaning Grandpa), Coku (cookie), Quack Quack (Duck), Sssssss (snake), Bat (bath), MeMe (cow’s milk), NeNe (mom’s milk), Shhh (shoes), pat (Ipad)…well that is for now…life is good. Bare with us, mom couldn’t decide on pictures so she has chosen 140 of them 😉
My first birthday started in the early morning when my parents woke me up with presents and a card. I was very surprised and happy when I heard them singing Happy Birthday together, this had never happened before. All day I heard songs from my parent’s friends and my family. Even at day care my lovely teachers sang the song and we all had a snack for my birthday. In the evening we all gathered in the park. I got lots of lovely gifts and had so much fun with everybody. In the end my dad helped me let my balloons go for an adventure. They flew very far up to the sky. Check for yourself, pictures are attached.
12 months ago at 7:02 pm I saw my parents for the first time. My adventure began on planet earth (well my parents claim that i will be cosmonaut so i may expand my living space in the future). I had, and still have, lots to discover and learn. My parents introduce me to life by traveling, exploring the world with love, care and the respect of nature. Even plants in my little garden deserve a cuddle, or a wave to the water in the bath while it’s draining away, or rosemary – a few minutes to admire its smell. Every trip I discover new bugs which are forgotten otherwise. Daily walks and playing with my grandparents is adding so much joy and making my little life so big.
All you who I met influenced my life one way or the other, you may all think that i will not remember any of it, but you are mistaken. All what I have seen, touched, loved and smiled to, made me who I am. Enjoy my little video collection (sorry for the iphone quality).

Since all the lighting was setup from my Dad’s fashion shoot, my parents decided to take some pictures of me in a felted dress. I don’t quite understand why someone mixed up all the letters in the alphabet, that’s so dumb! The dress was done by my Mom, it is too big for me as it was designed for her but it doesn’t look too bad
Since I had typewriter to play with the three of us enjoyed the photoshoot a lot. Enjoy the pictures.
